Kathy Ellickson, MBA
Kathryn Ellickson is the CEO and founder of Opinion Research Specialists (ORS). She leads the ORS team, manages recruitment and training, and oversees questionnaire design, programming, data analysis, interpretation, and report writing. Prior to founding ORS, Kathryn was a faculty member in the Marketing Department at Southern Illinois University - Carbondale and served as a staff analyst for Southern Illinois University’s Institutional Research and Studies Center.
Mark Ellickson, Ph.D. (Political Science)
Dr. Mark Ellickson is the President of Opinion Research Specialists. He is a political scientist with specialized training in statistics and survey research methodology and has over 30 years of applied experience working with local governments and nonprofit organizations. Dr. Ellickson assists with questionnaire design, sampling, and statistical analysis. He has taught graduate-level courses in survey research and applied statistics, led statewide workshops on community surveys for state and local government officials, and served as a statistical consultant for the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
Terry Stone, Ph.D. (Psychology)
Dr. Stone is a senior research associate with Opinion Research Specialists, specializing in research design, data analysis, and program evaluation. Before joining ORS, she worked as a program evaluator for the Munroe-Meyer Institute at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Nebraska–Omaha.
Marc Maness, M.A. (Communications)
Marc Maness is a senior research associate with Opinion Research Specialists. Before joining ORS, he spent over 30 years in the education eld, including 18 years as the Director of Communications and Strategic Planning for Springfield Public Schools, the largest school district in Missouri. His work focuses on strategic plan development, specializing in human-centered design input processes.
Josie Bock, M.A. (Geography)
Josie Bock is an associate with Opinion Research Specialists, assisting with GIS mapping and graphics production. A certified GIS Professional (GISP), she brings over 25 years of experience in mapping and survey projects, specializing in GIS data development and visualization.
